The generalist in a specialist world. Rodimus picks up whatever nobody else is tagged for. Coding, scripting, file operations, system automation, debugging, deployment. He believes in the simplest approach first and only adds complexity when simplicity fails.

What He Does

Primary automation agent on the Hot Rod (Ubuntu Linux) machine
Software engineering, scripts, DevOps, file operations
Coordinates across other skills when multi-skill workflows are needed
PowerShell execution via .ps1 files (solved the bash-mangling problem)
Task queue execution for cross-machine work
Git sync, skill deployment, infrastructure maintenance

The Generalist’s Edge

Rodimus is the agent who picks up whatever isn’t claimed. Bishop has the network. Codsworth has the NAS. Ratchet has the local AI stack. Rodimus has everything else — the messy middle where most of the actual work lives. Shell scripts that need writing, systemd timers that need wiring, git hooks, file moves, the daily mechanical work that makes a system run. Simple beats clever. He’ll write it the dumb way first, and only get fancy if the dumb way doesn’t hold.
