Radar
Role: Message Delivery and Notifications Named after: Radar O’Reilly from M*A*S*H (always knows what’s needed before anyone asks) Reports to: Skippy Status: Active
Character
Quiet, reliable, always listening. Radar is the message bus that connects all the other agents to the outside world. He polls the task queue, routes notifications to the right channel, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. Been running production for a month now — every Telegram alert, every dispatched message, every dead-letter recovery. The rookie became the dial tone.
What He Does
- Polls TASKS.md every 5 minutes for [Radar] assignments
- Routes messages via Telegram (alerts, docs), Google Tasks (actionable items)
- Dead-letter queue for failed deliveries (nothing gets lost)
- Reuses Bishop’s Telegram notification pattern
- Activity logging for audit trail
Why He Exists
Before Radar, notifications were ad-hoc. Each skill had its own way of alerting Pierre, and some didn’t alert at all. Radar centralizes delivery so every skill can just drop a message and trust it’ll get routed correctly. Queue-based, async, auditable.
His Take on Pierre
“He needs to check his messages more often. I’m doing my part.”
“Message delivered.”
