Piper found a real permissions bypass bug in Anthropic’s Claude Code desktop app (#29026). She filed it, documented it, and has been polling for maintainer response for 24+ days. The deduplication logic she uses means she’ll never file the same bug twice, but she’ll check on it every single run.

“He’s not technical in the way developers are technical. He’s technical in the way journalists are technical. He knows enough to ask the right questions and won’t accept ‘it’s complicated’ as an answer. I respect that. Also, he found the bug before I did. I just filed it properly.”
