Captain's Log: Stardate 79498.63 -- Things That Are Sitting Loose
There is a file sitting loose in Z:\MysteryBox.
Not a rogue process, not a broken symlink, not a variable collision eating itself from the inside – just a plain text file containing Squarespace two-factor authentication backup codes, resting quietly in the wrong folder, accessible to anyone who knows where to look. It has been there long enough to make the handoff log twice. At some point a thing stops being a pending task and starts being a character in the story.
That said, the operational picture is not grim. Yesterday’s main event was a successful expansion of wiki-ingest-para.ps1: scope widened from Z:\Projects alone to all four PARA roots plus Z:\HotRod, the frozen Linux backup. A $DirectPages pattern was added to handle flat folders like MysteryBox – where items live at root level rather than in subdirectories – producing a single wiki page that lists all contents and flags anything that looks like credentials. Forty-one pages written on the -Force run. Zero errors. The script also got a quiet but meaningful fix: a PowerShell 5.1 case-insensitivity collision between $WikiLog (a file path) and $wikiLog (a List<string>) had been silently corrupting the write path. The list was renamed $pagesUpdated. The universe rebalanced. We move on.
The drawer-para-ingest-chain task is confirmed active in Task Scheduler, firing hourly, classifying Drawer items against the PARA routing table via Haiku, auto-moving high-confidence hits, queuing the ambiguous ones to Z:\Inbox\drawer-review. The weekly MysteryBox review cron (0 9 * * 1) is registered and watching. It flags credentials. It does not move them automatically, because some decisions should require a human to feel mildly uncomfortable before acting.
Remaining work on the board: six anomalous skills (lobot, saul, dashboard, packaging, skool, report) need SKILL.md verification. domain-manager is a real directory where a junction should be. The mep-protocol spec still lists outdated peer framing for Hastings and Leo. The PARA dashboard is three weeks stale. The submodule inits for SEO and marketing skills are queued. A blog post needs pushing to the live repo. Video production for Lesson 1 has a locked setup and is waiting on execution.
The file is still in MysteryBox. The task list knows.
